OREN ALBERT WHITEOn April 12, 2021, Oren Albert White, age 88, of Nampa, Idaho, went home to be with the Lord.Oren was born on February 6, 1933, to Samuel & Freda White, in the moon-shining city of Sulfur Springs, Arkansas. As a young boy, his family moved to Washington State to work in the Shipyards. Oren graduated (with perfect attendance) from Mount Vernon High School in 1951, where he participated in Boys Club, Basketball, Baseball, Football, Choir and Boys Green. Following high school, Oren worked for Carnation and a Tulip Farm in Washington. He loved fishing, hunting and was an avid bowman who won many competitions. Oren eventually settled in Idaho, where he worked for KIT Manufacturing Company, Ace Supply, Inc., and Western World, Inc., also known as Circle J Trailers. His fascination with airplanes prompted him to take up flying lessons. Oren also enjoyed small acreage farming, gardening, horseback riding, league bowling, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was quite the prankster and held true to it until the very end. Oren is survived by his former wife/caregiver, Viola White; two sisters, Sherry and Patricia (Terry); a brother, Jimmie (Dee); nine children, Susan (Starn), Teresa, Rebecca, Tammy, Rene (Juliet), Connie (David), Rachel (Buck), Taryn (Chris) & Joel (Heather); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and long-time friend, Carl Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Pauline White and Clayton & Freda Rud; a nephew, Rickie Powell; and great-grandson, Jayce Lee-Garrett Morgan. The family extends their utmost appreciation to St. Luke's Hospice, St. Luke's Nampa, Ashley Manor Midland and Zeyer Funeral Chapel, for their care and compassion throughout Dad's valiant battle with Lewy Body Dementia.At Oren's request, there will be no funeral. Graveside Services will be Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wilder Cemetery.
