Myrle Woolard was born in Annis, Idaho on January 21, 1933. She passed peacefully at home in Idaho City on November 12, 2014. She had very loving parents and nine brothers and sisters. Her family moved to Emmett, Idaho where she met and married her first husband. She had one daughter from that marriage. Through her life she married three times and had four more step children. She cared for her sister when she was sick and also her mother. She was a natural care giver and a very hard worker and a friend to everyone. When she moved to Idaho City with her daughter and son in law she loved that she could live in the mountains. There was nothing better than to watch the elk and turkeys come down outside her door. She would watch the big blue birds outside her window and often said that we had the bluest sky ever. She loved to visit her grandkids and great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids. She struggled with Alzheimer's in her later years but always enjoyed the beauty that surrounded her. She was preceded in death by each of her brothers and sisters and her husbands. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 21 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa (467-7300) with a viewing at 1 p.m. prior to the services.
