Norman Larry Thueson, 85, passed away August 30, 2017 in Boise, Idaho of natural causes. Larry was born to Gail Hesse and Lela Davenport Thueson on June 10, 1932 in Meridian, Idaho. He was the third of five children. Larry spent the majority of his childhood in Boise, Idaho and on the family farms in Nampa, Idaho. He married Aurelie Walker on August 22, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Idaho LDS Temple. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the two greatest loves of his life were the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his family. He and Aurelie are the parents of seven sons and four daughters, and the grandparents of 65 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren. Larry served three full-time missions for the church: in the Cook Islands as a young man, and two missions with Aurelie in New Zealand/the Cook Islands and in Palmyra, New York. He served as an ordinance worker and sealer in the Boise LDS Temple for 22 years. He loved sharing the Gospel and bearing witness of its truthfulness. Larry will always be remembered for his love, kindness, his sparkling eyes, and sweet smile. He is survived by his wife, Aurelie, and his 10 living children and spouses: Rick & Sandra Thueson, Camille & Harold King, Lance & Janel Thueson, Lamond & Angela Thueson, Nolan & Janice Thueson, Kimberlee & Donald Nicol, Carmen and Shale Robison, Brian & Jenny Thueson, Coleen & Jason Talbot, and Bryce & Angela Thueson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brothers and sister: Elwood Thueson, Darlene Tobler, and Darrell Thueson. He was preceded in death by his son Brent Thueson; his parents; and his brother Duane Thueson. We are grateful for his great legacy of love, family, and faith. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 at the LDS Chapel, 3904 E. Greenhurst Rd, Nampa.
