Nadine Harrison Parrish finished her earthly labor with tranquility and grace on July 5, 2016. She was a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was the only child of Orland and Francis Harrison, born in Rupert ID, June 24, 1931. She was raised in Pocatello, ID, where her parents were friends with Basil and Sarah Parrish and their son Norman. She married Norman Basil Parrish on August 22, 1948. During their married life they lived in ID and CA. They were the parents of four children. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The family was sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, May 5, 1962. A faithful daughter of Heavenly Father, she served in many callings, including: Sunday School teacher, in the ward and stake Primary and Relief Society presidencies, Seminary teacher and Temple Ordinance Worker. She also served two stake missions and a full-time mission with her husband. She is survived by her daughter Gail Parrish, of Stockton, CA; son John and his wife Karen Parrish, of Kuna, ID; son Joe Parrish, of Boise, ID; 24 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; her parents; daughter, Norma Jean Rice; and two grandsons. One of her final instructions to the family: "You pay by the inch. Keep it short." Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 at the Meadowlark Ward LDS Chapel, 4921 N Mitchell St, Boise. Arrangements by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300.
