She enjoyed writing, took several creative writing classes while living in Meridian, and wrote beautiful poetry and family stories. She also performed dramatic readings over the years in various church and social settings. Her children and grandchildren have fond memories of the special poems and stories she shared with them. Reading, writing, and constant learning gave her great joy throughout her life. She had a strong knowledge and testimony of the Gospel, and dedicated herself to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in every organization over the years.
