Glenna Imogene Waltman, 89, of Nampa died Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Nampa, Idaho. A memorial services will be held in her honor at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. Taylor Driesel will be officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the services. Interment service will be held at 2:00 PM, the same day, at Cloverdale Memorial Park, 1200 North Cloverdale Road in Boise.Glenna was born November 17, 1930 in Golden, Missouri, the sixth child of Jackson Elias and Flora Bell Davis. "Jean" lived in Missouri with her family until about 1940. When hard times fell on them they would travel on a flatbed truck working in the fields or anything that they could do get what they needed to get them through the day. The family moved to Idaho, in the Ustick area, where Jean was raised and attended school.She married Wallace James Waltman on August 2, 1947 in Caldwell, Idaho.Jean was known for her sweet and firm personality.She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace; her parents Jackson Elias and Flora Bell Davis; siblings: Raymond, Lavon, Voyle, Edith and Jesse. She is survived by Wallace Gale and Martha Waltman, Kathy Lynn and Floyd F. Reichert, Ricky J and Annie Waltman; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and one sister Cholene.Jean has struggled for a long time. Now she is at peace, and enjoying being reunited with her husband Jim and her family.
