In Loving Memory of Kathleen Joan Means November 12, 1930 - January 22, 2017 Kathleen Joan Means of Nampa, Idaho formerly of Payette and Council, Idaho passed away January 22, 2017 at St.Lukes ER in Nampa, Idaho of natural causes. Born as Kathleen Joan Kimball in Omaha, Nebraska to Margaret Francis (Wright) and Kenneth Kay Kimball on November 12, 1930. She was the oldest of six children, whom she helped raise. In 1950 Kathy met and fell for the love of her life, Harold Leo Means. They married and moved to California to raise their children. In June 1978 they moved to Council, Idaho on their 5 acres in the pine covered mountains and built a log cabin. In 1982, they were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and on September 3, 1983 their marriage was sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. In 1991 they moved to Payette, Idaho. After loosing her husband in 1999, she moved to Nampa, Idaho. Kathleen was a warm and loving person who found the light and beauty in each individual who crossed her path. She made friends wherever she went with her easy laughter and loving spirit. She was warm, creative, spiritual and extremely strong. She devoted her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Linda; her loving husband; and her son Douglas Roche. Kathy is survived by her four siblings: Sandra Kleifgen, Frank Gill, Pat White, and Barbara Heinsch; her six daughters: Kathy Horn, Joy Gray, Star Means, Marlene Means-Hunt, Linda Hoxie, and Vicki Peers-Hope; her 20 grandchildren: Jeff and John Horn, Brook, Sean and Steven Roche, Kyle Gray, Geri Gray Reynolds, Christina Schiller, Vincent Gray, Michelle Yanko, Jesse Gray, Jeremiah Means, Celeste and Joshua Hunt, Brandon Hoxie, Katie Jordan, Cody Peers, Alyssa Blank, Mykenzi and Ashli Peers; her 29 great-grandchildren: Eric and Jacob Horn, Dylan, Patricia and Amelia Gray, Johnathan, Joey Jr., Zackary Ford, Sammie and Jimmy Reynolds, Valentine and Angelina Schiller, Ryan, Tony, and Nicole Gray, Shane Young, Austin, Joesph, and Callie Yanko, Gabriella and Emmett Gray, Lauren and Logan Means, Kylan and Miles Wolfe, Dallas Jordan, Braydon Kiefer, Aubrianna and Adam Blank; her great-great-grandchild Mikayla Ford.
