Dorothy Smith Phillips died August 13, 2021 in Nampa, Idaho. She was born October 21, 1930 to Joseph Alvin Smith and Margaret Helen Kiepe in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dorothy married LaMar Allison Phillips Jr. January 19, 1950. After 71 years together, LaMar passed away July 24, 2021. Dorothy passed away 20 days later from a broken heart. Dorothy enjoyed doing needle point with her mother, teaching her kids to quilt and knit, and especially out fishing dad. Dorothy was preceded in death by LaMar and survived by two daughters, Marsha (Jim) Klatt, Janet (Kim) Hogan and two sons, Boyd (Connie) Phillips and Rick (Gnee) Phillips.
