Lynn Thomas Richman December 13, 1928 - July 15, 2022 Lynn Thomas Richman was born December 13, 1928, in Paradise, UT, to Leon Sinfield Richman (1897-1933) and Boston Thomas Richman (1899-1978). After Lynn's father died in an accident when Lynn was four years old, the family moved to Brigham City, UT. Lynn's mother, Boston, never remarried, but worked hard to support her family. Lynn also worked hard. At age 18, he bought a gas station. He later managed grocery stores in Salt Lake City and Layton, UT. He bought and operated a grocery store in Brigham City, Lynn's Drive-In Market, for nine years. In 1961, he was hired by the Sperry & Hutchinson Company (S&H Green Stamps) where he worked for 27 years. Over the years, he won numerous awards, including top salesman in the nation. At age 19, Lynn married Kathryn Joyce Seely, and they had four children. The family moved to Salt Lake City in 1963 and then to Boise, ID in 1968. Lynn's wife Joyce passed away in 1971 and he married Mary Elizabeth Smith in 1972. Mary had two children in a previous marriage and then they had five more children together, making a total of 11 children. Lynn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various ward and stake callings. Lynn served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for four years. Upon compiling his life history at age 87, Lynn wrote, "I have been blessed with a full life. The Lord has really blessed me and my family. I have really enjoyed my journey here on earth and it is a sobering thought as I realize that it will soon come to an end, and I will return home. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Boston Richman; his sister Reta (Paul Nelson); his brother Leon; and his first wife, Kathryn Joyce Seely and a grandson Brandon Robert Wilson. Lynn is survived by his wife, Mary; and his children: Jeff (Don Peterson), Larry (Teri), Joy (Blair Jacobson), Rick (Wendy), Tonya (Scott Thurman), Marjorie, Julie (Johnny Hester), Jennifer (Spencer Wintersteen), Becky, David (Angela), Elizabeth (Jeremy Driebergen), 36 grandchildren, and 54 great grandchildren.
