Virginia Mae Wardle Burlingame was born April 15, 1928, in Burley, Idaho. She moved to Boise when she was 14. Virginia met Dee Burlingame in the fall of 1942 at Franklin High School. They dated off and on for four years and then married August 1, 1947. On June 26, 1952, they were sealed in the Cardston Alberta Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were blessed with five children (2 girls and 3 boys) and over the years their family has increased to 14 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson. Throughout Virginia's life she held many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission with Dee at the Boise Idaho Temple. Virginia celebrated her 95th birthday on April 15th. Dee and Virginia have been married for 75 years. Virginia passed away April 26, 2023. She is survived by her husband Dee Burlingame; Ginry (Don) Frank; Gary (Sherree) Burlingame; Gail (Mike) Fisher; Gage (Mary) Burlingame; and Glade (Sherie) Burlingame; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren. She was greatly loved by many and will be dearly missed.
