Her family relocated to Twin Falls, Idaho, where she was raised. Following her marriage to Richard Leo Clatfelter, they traveled and lived in several states before settling in Nampa in 1960. After joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1978, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden LDS Temple. She served faithfully in many church callings. Richard died on July 4, 1986. ElNora had always aspired to become a nurse. After completing her training in 1962, she cared for countless patients in nursing homes and hospitals. She was employed at Mercy Hospital nearly thirty years before she retired. She felt great satisfaction in her profession, and she continued to care for others as long as her health allowed. ElNora had several interests throughout her life, and had a particular fondness for bowling. She was also involved in the community, participating as an active member of the Women's Century Club for many years. She married James Roger Kotter in 1996, and embraced his family as her own. They likewise welcomed her and were most appreciative of the companionship and care she provided to their father for more than nineteen years. Jim died on March 1, 2015. ElNora is survived by her son, Richard Lee Clatfelter, and her daughter, Teresa (Eugene) Campbell, and their posterity; her two brothers, Bill (Eileen) Gardoski, and Lynn Joseph Gardoski; her stepchildren, Kurt (Lana) Kotter, Gregg (Mona) Kotter, Jeff Kotter, Melissa (Monte) Schlerf, Helen (Roger) Garner and Kris (Arleen) Kotter; her stepdaughter-in-law, Karen Kotter; and their posterity. She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, her brother and stepson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the Nampa 22nd Ward LDS Chapel, 927 Ruth Lane in Nampa. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Zeyer Funeral Chapel.
