"Jack"

John "Jack" Laskowski 11/25/1927 - 04/14/ 2022 Jack was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin and passed away in Nampa, Idaho. He leaves behind his son - John Laskowski, Niece - Christina Roger's, 6 Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren, Nieces/Nephews and their families. Jack was one of kindest, most peaceful men to walk the earth and was loved my many. In my eyes he was the best role model of what a husband, father, Grandfather n friend should be. He admirably served his country for 22 years, two in the Navy, followed by 20 in the Army. He served in WW II, Korea and Vietnam retiring in 1968 and moving with his family back to Lakewood, Washington. While serving in Germany, he met the love of his life "Jytte" while on furlough in Copenhagen, Denmark and adopted two boys as well before returning for duty in the States. He is preceeded in death by his wife - Jytte, son - Andy, parents - John and Mary and brothers - Edward, Edwin and Stanley. Rest in Peace Colonel Jack
