Eulale Susanna Sargent

Eulale Susanna Sargent, 90, of Nampa passed away of natural causes on October 31, 2017. She was born January 16, 1927 in Darlington, ID to Frank and Vanell Mathews. She grew up in Darlington and Hagerman with her two brothers and two sisters, where she loved exploring, playing baseball, working in her dad's store, and riding horses. She later moved to Emmett and Nampa where she raised her five children, with a tremendous amount of love and care, days filled with delicious homemade bread and goodies. She loved rock hunting, traveling through the desert, mountains and to the ocean, painting pictures, playing the piano, and being with her friends and family. Eulale will be forever remembered as an elegant individual, a kind and caring friend, and mom and grandma, with an unforgettable sense of humor and zest for life. She was loved by everyone who met her, including all the caregivers at Meadowview Nursing Home in Nampa where she was so kindly cared for in her final years. She was an avid Christian; a firm believer of God and her family is at peace knowing she has returned to her maker and is dancing with her friends and loved ones that passed away before her. She is survived by her sons Steve Sargent and Dan Sargent both of Nampa; her daughters: Londa Cowan of Caldwell, Nola George of Salt Lake City, UT and Dessa (David) Gzik of Weiser; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and her sister Joy (Don) Lewis of Springfield, OR. A memorial will be held in the spring. Her final wishes were arranged by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 208-467-7300. Condolences may be expressed at zeyerfuneralchapel.com.
