Vella Allen Palmer Vella passed away from natural causes March 3, 2024, in Meridian, Idaho. She was born to Clyde and Beulah Allen, Oct 7, 1933, in Nampa Idaho and was the second of five children. Vella lived in Nampa until third grade when the family moved to a farm in Vale Oregon. She was raised on the farm through high school. After graduation Vella moved to Boise for work. She married Chuck Palmer Dec 26, 1952 in Vale Oregon. Vella raised her three sons in Boise then moved to Eagle in 1977. She helped her husband start and run several successful businesses; Idaho Escort Service where they provided motorized escorts for funerals, fires, and other events. Idaho Ambulance Service, and Rocky Mountain Air, where they operated a flying service which transported prisoners by air. She also enjoyed sewing and was a seamstress at the Mode in downtown Boise. She lost her husband of 49 years in 2002. After his death she served a mission for the LDS church in Salt Lake City. She has spent the last twenty-two years waiting for this reunion with Dad and we as a family couldn't be happier for her. She is survived by one brother Dale Allen. Three sons Mike (Corri), Pat (Donna), Joe (Leslie). Grandchildren Codi Galloway, Patrick Palmer, Scott Palmer, Cade Palmer, Travis Palmer, Derek Palmer, Nick Palmer, Ty Palmer, Paige McKenna, Cord Palmer, Chase Palmer, and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Beulah Allen. Sisters Marlene Rosen and Myrna Frisby. Brother Earl Allen, and Husband Chuck Palmer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM March 9 2024 the Eagle LDS Stake Center 2090 N. Eagle Rd. Eagle Idaho.
