Oct 6, 1948 - March 10. 2024Elizabeth Marie Rapp was known to her family and friends as “Liz.” She was born Oct. 6, 1948, in Mason City, Iowa and went to be in heaven with Jesus, March 10, 2024, in Nampa, Idaho. Liz’s parents were William and Josephine Delores Warner. William and 'Jo’ gave birth to Dennis Warner and then Elizabeth Warner. Liz had two younger half siblings, Allen Robertson, and Rexanna Robertson (Stout). Liz was the last of the four children to pass on to eternal life.Liz’s mother moved quite a few times in her younger years, but considers Rio Linda, CA where she 'grew up.’ Besides a brief few years living in Germany, the majority of her adult life was lived in Sacramento, CA. Liz and her daughter moved to Nampa, Idaho on June 6, 2015 where she remained until her passing.Liz’s life in Sacramento centered around her job as a cafeteria worker at Sutter Memorial Hospital on F Street, where she considered many of her co-workers true friends, her church family at Calvary Chapel Sacramento and her children and grandchildren. Babysitting the grandchildren was one of her great joys in life.John and Liz Rapp gave birth to three children, Donald (Shelle) who has four children, Jeanny has one child and one grandson, and Margret "Maggie," (Bill Goff) who has one child and two grandchildren. This makes Liz’s count of six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Jeanny fondly recalls how 'cool’ it was to have a younger mother who was energetic and active with them while growing up. Liz always seemed to have time to play with them whether it was at home, in the yard playing badminton, in the park, or walking in the summertime to the lake to go swimming. In her recent senior years, living in Idaho, Liz greatly enjoyed attending Crossroads Community Church and their Friday morning potluck, and prayer group, Silver Sisters. Liz had a great affection for all the sweet ladies at Silver Sisters, particularly liked joining in on the dressing-up days. Also, a joy were the lovely ladies who would come to the house for Friday night Yahtzee. A memorial service will be held during a regular Silver Sisters potluck and prayer group: Friday, March 22, 2024 10 AM -Noon Crossroads Community Church 4170 E. Amity Nampa, ID 83687
