Geraldine Clark

Our beloved mother, Jerri Clark, was reunited with her husband on March 15, 2024. We will miss her so. Geraldine Johnson was born in November 12, 1946 to William and Rita Johnson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the third of their four children. When she was 8 years old, her family moved to Southern California. She loved the beach and would tell us that she got to go to the beach almost every day as a child. Jerri met the love of her life, Jim Clark, when he came to her house to hang out with her older brother. At one point her dad said to her brother, “You know Clarkie’s here?” To which my uncle replied “ He’s not here to see me”. This was a favorite story of my grandpa’s. Jim and Jerri married on June 20, 1964 in the Los Angeles, California Temple. After the birth of their third daughter, they had the opportunity to move to Idaho. This was quite a change for this California girl. She would always tell us how Idaho only had one McDonalds when they moved here. Shocking! She grew to love her Idaho home and went on to have two more daughters and one son. We were raised with such love and parents who sacrificed so much for their family. They were devoted to each other and were great examples to all around them. Jerri was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church positions. She had a strong and unapologetic testimony of Jesus Christ and his gospel. She loved the beauty of nature, was constantly picking up rocks and pinecones on her many adventures. One of her favorite thing was skipping down Main Street at Disneyland, holding hands with her grandkids. She had such a zest for life! Jerri is survived by her children- Lisa Jensen (Mark), Kim Powell, Jaymi Zabel (Ron), Chari Fowler (Russ), Carri Jensen (Paul), James Clark (Lexi) and her sixteen grandchild Cami, Travis, Denton, Scott, Robert, James Gus, Chris, Hunter, Thomas, Millie, Jack, Susi, Jimmy, Billy, Sawyer and Jaymi. She has 11 great grandchildren and was so excited to have 4 more on the way. She was bragging that she got to meet them before we did. She is also survived her sister Jeanne Hopper and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim, great granddaughter Scarlett, son-in-law Trevis, her parents and her brothers Jay and Kent. Zoom Link https://zoom.us/j/99840431286
