Luis Ricardo Ruiz, 41 of Caldwell, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, of natural causes. Luis Ricardo Ruiz, best known as Richie, was born in Caldwell, Idaho on January 4, 1983, to Rosa Mendoza Ruiz and Tomas Gonzalez Ruiz. Richie held a very special place in our family. He was spoiled and was always the center of attention. He was the baby of the family, and all his brothers and sisters were always watching out for him. He was the life of the party, always laughing and joking. He loved family gatherings and having a good time. Born and raised in Caldwell, he easily made friends and was well known. He liked working on cars, listening to music, playing video games and good food. Richie loved his children, Dominic Martinez, Richie Lee Page, Isaiah and Rosalinda Ruiz and Adaline Orozco. He loved his mother and father dearly. Family was very important to him. He grew up surrounded by his brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces. A huge family. Richie believed in the Lord and would attend church at Harvest Life with his mom, Rosa. Richie was kind, helpful and always a friend. Richie is survived by his children, Dominic Martinez, Richie Page, Isaiah and Rosalinda Ruiz, and Adaline Orozco. Sisters Maru Ruiz, Teresa Vazquez, Soraida Ruiz, and Margarita Smith. He is also survived by his brothers Tomas Ruiz, Pedro Ruiz, Luis Ruiz, Jose Guerrero, David Guerrero, and Carlos Ruiz. Richie also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss him dearly. Richie is proceeded in death by his Mother Rosa Mendoza Ruiz, his Father Tomas Gonzalez Ruiz, his Brother Tomasito Ruiz, Grandparents Juan and Maria de Jesus Mendoza, and Silverio and Estefana Ruiz. The loss of Ritchie is heartbreaking. He will be remembered and loved always. Services are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at Zeyer Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at 11:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Richie will be laid to rest at the feet of his mother.
