Marcie Rivas

Marcie Rivas was born on August 19, 1980, to Tom and Diana Bradshaw. She was their fourth child out of six children. Marcie was born in Boise, Idaho, and raised in Melba, Idaho. They lived on a small family farm. There were always chores to do and animals to play with. Growing up, Marcie had a lot of cousins and family members that she always talked about.  She had very vivid memories of growing up with all her family and friends. She would always tell everyone about her memories with her cousins when they dared each other to do things. Marcie finished her high school years at Melba High School; she also attended college at the College of Western Idaho. Marcie met her husband at her part-time job that she had during high school. She married Eduardo Rivas on October 16, 1999, in Nampa, Idaho. They bought their first home in Nampa. Their lives were once again blessed on April 29, 2002, with their first child, Alex E. Rivas. He brought the family so much joy because he was the first grandchild on both sides. And brought both families so much joy. Marcie and Eduardo relocated to Melba, Idaho, in January of 2006. Marcie adored being a mom and was granted another special gift on January 23, 2008, when she gave birth to Victoria E. Rivas, her long-awaited baby girl. After she had both Alex and Victoria, she was very excited to have a boy and girl combo. Marcie and Eduardo continued to raise their family. Marcie was gifted her last baby on September 17, 2014, when she gave birth to Tomas J. Rivas, a healthy little baby boy. The family is complete, Marcie would say. She felt a great sense of pride in her three babies. Marcie and Eduardo took their family on various vacations. Which included Hawaii and Rivera Maya, which was Marcie's favorite place. Marcie loved to watch her kids play sports. Victoria’s love for volleyball brought so much joy to Marcie. Watching her play and develop gave Marcie so much joy. Watching her son Tomas play baseball was also one of her favorite things to do. She supported and cheered on her kids, no matter the circumstances. Another thing that made Marcie special was her dedication to the development of her son, Alex E. Rivas. She was always the first one to stand up and cheer on Alex’s life successes. She got great joy from Alex’s individual accomplishments and his persistence in always moving forward. Marcie and Eduardo will be married for 25 years this year. Their love is unbreakable and so deep for each other. They learned how to overcome obstacles and get the best results possible. Marcie is survived by her husband Eduardo, her sons Alex and Tomas, her daughter Victoria, her mother Diana Bradshaw, her brothers Bryan, Jeremy, and Beau, and her sisters Jennifer and Annie. Marcie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Dee Bradshaw.
