Joshuea Evans

Joshuea Glen Evans, 27, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. Josh was a beloved son, father, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was born June 26, 1996, in Nampa, Idaho, at Mercy Medical Hospital, to Melissa Evans and Jason Light. Josh has been a ray of light since the day he was born. From the beginning, Josh was so adventurous, always wanting to be outside in the sunshine or rain. Everything from going fishing, riding bikes, skateboarding, anything outdoors—you name it, he did it. He had the most free-spirited and opinionated mind at a young age; being the rebel he was. Josh developed a love for freestyle rapping; he wanted to be the next Snoop Dog. Though Josh encountered his share of struggles and challenges, he made the most of the hand he was dealt. Josh had the heart of gold, whether he knew you or not; he was there for anyone who just needed someone. Josh always gave the shirt off his back, whether he had another one or not. One thing Josh loved beyond words was when he had his sweet little boy, Levi. Josh knew when Levi was born that he really wanted to shape up his life to be the father Levi needed. Just this year, Josh started his own reputation, made his own business from scratch, bought one of his dream cars, and started really living and enjoying life. The day of Josh’s accident, you saw pure joy and a smile on his face as he was camping for the first time with his son and pouring his passion for camping on to Levi. Josh was preceded in death by his twin brothers Michael and Ryan, sister Faith Evans, cousin Herrera, grandparents Steve and Paula Young, grandparents Randy Evans and Thomas Macks, and great-grandma Millie Evans. He is survived by his son Levi Evans, his mother Melissa Shockley, girlfriend Becky, his brother Daultin Pendleton, great-grandparents James and Margaret Burrow, Aunt Angie (Uncle Rick), aunt Kimmy, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
