With great sadness and extremely heavy hearts, the family of Kipton “Kip” Allen Miller announces his passing on Friday, June 21, 2024, in Nampa, Idaho. Kip passed away peacefully at home due to a cardiac event at the age of 65. Kip was born June 17, 1959, to Helen Frost and Emery Miller in Cody, Wyoming. He resided most of his life in Nampa, Idaho, where he was raised by Helen and Lyle Frost. He was the little brother to sisters Carrie and Terrilyn, who tormented him all his life. Kip attended Nampa School District, graduating from Nampa High School in 1978 with his best group of friends (Mark, Jack, Denny, and Dave), who are now together again, celebrating and partying today. While attending South Jr. High School, Kip met Marianne “Harrold” Cooper at the age of fourteen. From that moment on, he knew she was the one, and in 1981, they were married in Caldwell, Idaho. They divorced in 2002 but remained great friends until this day. In February 1982, Kip became a (very emotional) “girl dad” with the birth of their first daughter, Hattie Anne. Two years later, in July 1984, Kip’s second daughter, Abilynn, entered the world. Kip and Marianne spent eight years raising their family in Northern California. In February of 1991, Kips third daughter, Baleigh J. "Precious,” was born—a special little gift, just what he needed. In 1995, Kip and Marianne returned to the Treasure Valley. The majority of his HVAC career was spent at American Mechanical, where he was introduced to Mud Racing, which he enjoyed doing throughout the summers with his daughter Baleigh, and Fireball Racing.Kips career in HVAC ended while working at Capital City Heating and Cooling, where he was loved by the owners, co-workers, and customers. His favorite role in life was being a dad to three daughters, who absolutely adored him! Every conversation led to his girls; he was so proud of them and was their biggest cheerleader, through failures and successes. He was their biggest supporter and raised them to be strong, independent, and to always take chances. Kips smile was contagious, and his laughter left you wanting more. If you ever had a Kipper hug, it always included a kiss on the cheek. If you had the opportunity to see him dance, you know it was a treat. To know Kip was to love him.Kip loved being a part of his grandson’s lives; he enjoyed attending all the school activities they were involved in and listening to their stories. He especially loved watching their marching band performances and looked forward to being a part of their future adventures. They will greatly miss their grandpa.Kip had the privilege of having two son-in-laws, whom he admired and appreciated. He loved them as though they were his own. He knew his girls were taken care of, and he was always welcomed into their lives.Kip always enjoyed game night with his parents, Sunday dinners at Terrilyn’s, fantasy football, and cribbage with Peggy and Emery. He loved treating everyone to his secret barbequed beer butt chicken, and in dad’s “spare time,” he loved spending time dog-sitting KashLynn and Chewie. Recently, he purchased his own home, where he enjoyed remodeling with his grandson Cameron, gardening, chasing his cats, hot tubbing, helping his neighbors, and tinkering in his garage. He took a lot of pride in his home.If you knew Kip, you know he was the most kind and generous human to everyone and had the biggest heart. He was loyal. His joy in life was serving others and spending quality time with those he loved. He never broke commitments; you could always count on him. Kip believed strongly in his faith, which was evident in his daily life; he took after his mama and followed in her footsteps, loving the Lord.Kip is survived and will be extremely missed by “His Three Girls," Hattie A.
