Harold Alvin Kempf, 74 of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his home of natural causes, on October 21, 2024.Harold was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dorothy Bertram and Alvin Kempf. He grew up with two brothers Kenny and Kevin Kempf and a sister Garnett, and they shared many memories together.Harold met his wife of fifty five years, Dorothy Mooney in the fall of 1967 and they married on August 30, 1969. Then in the winter of 1971, they welcomed their only daughter Tammy Jackson and later their son Harold Kempf.Harold was a devoted man of God and practiced his faith until his last breath. He enjoyed creating wood works, spending time with his family caring for his grandchildren and more than anything he so fiercely loved his wife Dorothy.Harold was preceded in death by both his parents; his brother Kenny Kempf; sister Garnett Adams; and his only son Harold Kempf.Harold is survived by his wife Dorothy Kempf; his mother in law Ruby Adams; brother Kevin Kempf; his beloved daughter Tammy Jackson; along with his grandchildren: Steven and Alex Gordon, Kristen and Nick Anderson, Michael Gordon, Damien Kempf, Hunter Kempf; and great granchildren, Brady and Riley Anderson.Harold will be laid to rest at Kohlerlawn Cemetery on October 23, 2024 in a private burial ceremony.The family would like to thank Enhabit Home Health and Hospice, especially Alena, Britney and Miriam for their compassion and care for Harold during his final moments.
