Kay L. Hopla

Kay L. Hopla, 88, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at his home in Nampa, Idaho. He was born December 29, 1927 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Frank J. and Sarah E. Ison Hopla. Kay served in the Army Air Corps for three years. After his service he became a long haul truck driver for the remainder of his years. Kay leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years Dora (Dee) Hopla to whom he was sealed to for time and all eternity in the Boise LDS Temple. He also is survived by his son Ron Hopla; step-children: Joan (Ricky) Jensen, David (Susan) Oxley and Diane (Mark) Rothrock; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters LaFay Larsen and Karen Short; and brother Ivan Hopla. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Maxine Roark; and stepson Michael Oxley.
