Our beautiful boy, Chandler Scott Mitchell passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2022. Chandler was born on February 17, 1998, in Nampa, Idaho. That day was blessed with the lucky 7's - weighing in at 7lbs 7 oz at 7:30 p.m. Chandler carried that luck with him throughout his life and always won a scratch ticket, won a toy from the claw machines, and always caught the first fish. Attending Parma schools, he was active in baseball, wrestling, FFA & high school rodeo. If you knew Chandler, you know he loved big and with his whole heart. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was a genuine friend, brother, son and soon to be uncle. Chandler loved his family and was his momma's ride or die. He loved his grandparents and spent many afternoons visiting them up until their recent deaths. Chandler loved music and had a wide variety of genres he listened to daily. He became a big collector of shoes, hats, jewelry and guns. Chandler loved to shoot, fish and snowboard. Chandler did not have an easy life in his most recent years. However, every time he fell down, he picked himself back up and started over. He wasn't a quitter, and this was something his momma was most proud of. Chandler had a great sense of humor; he gave the best hugs and had the biggest infectious smile. One of his closest friends described him as: a lion among sheep, a man of few words yet he said everything you needed to hear. He had a loving heart that loved deeper than the Grand Canyon. He had style and grace, a cowboy at a rap concert, a worrier at war...... Chandler is survived by his parents Jody & Mindy Mitchell of Parma; and his brothers Damon Mitchell of Orofino, ID and Hunter Mitchell of Fort Campbell, KY; and last but not least, the love of his life Lia Vega. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents. We miss him tremendously and life will never be the same without him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, at the Parma High School Gymnasium, 137 Panther Way in Parma. Our family is so grateful to our community, friends, and family that have stepped in to help during such a devastating time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we will never forget the outpouring of love we have felt.
