Coit Edwin Herrick II

Coit Edwin Herrick (Bubba), a young man who lived life to the fullest, from Middleton, Idaho, passed away March 25, 2017, at the age of 20, from injuries sustained from a hiking accident. He was born to Coit Herrick and Jennifer Newland on May 17, 1996, in Nampa, Idaho. Bubba was an adventurer and natural athlete. He was a great wrestler. He started in 8th grade and was a natural, placing at state his first year. Later he took time out of his busy work schedule to coach the Middleton Middle School team and helped them win the West Division Championship. The team included his little brother KC who he loved to watch succeed at the sport. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, skateboarding, and snowboarding with his dad and younger brother Kobe. They were always engaging in friendly competition and pushed each other to be better. Bubba had a kind heart and a loving spirit. His smile was contagious and could light up the room. He had a lot of friends and was the life of the party. Everyone who knew him couldn't help but love him. Coit is survived by his parents Jennifer Herrick and Mike Osmus and Coit and Melissa Herrick; his siblings: Brooke Osmus, Kobe Herrick, KC Osmus, Mikka Sever, McKayla Osmus, and Kennen Knapp; several grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a great grandmother. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa. (208-467-7300) Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1 at the Middleton High School Auditorium, 1538 Emmett Rd, Middleton with a burial to follow at Middleton Cemetery, 23660 Cemetery Rd in Middleton.
