Zach Wayne Schrader

Zachary Wayne Schrader, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born to Scott Schrader and Sharon Brower Schrader in Blackfoot, Idaho, on December 10, 1994. He passed on May 19, 2021 in the mountains of Ontario, Oregon. Zach was born in Blackfoot, Idaho and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. Zach graduated from Canyon Ridge High School in 2014 where he enjoyed playing football, competing in rodeo events, and spending time with friends and family. He loved to spend his free time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and exploring. Zach had a passion and knack for wanting to figure out how things worked and would constantly be tearing things apart and work on rebuilding them. After high school, Zach served an honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission. He touched the lives of many and shared his knowledge and testimony of the gospel and the love for our Savior Jesus Christ. Zach reached many hearts because he accepted people for who they were and never passed judgment. One of Zach's favorite things was to make people laugh. He loved to joke and tell stories and would often let the story go on for quite a while before actually letting them know it wasn't real. He loved to make everyone laugh and had a big heart. Everyone has a favorite Zach story. Zach loved being around horses and working with them, even if he was bucked off a time or two. He had a special connection with animals and enjoyed spending time with his grandparents on their farm. Zach loved his family dearly and was an amazing son and brother. He always treated his mom with kindness and respect, putting her first and being careful to always consider her feelings. Zach's love for working with his hands came from his father. Zach often came to his father for advice and enjoyed helping him work in the shop. He was a big inspiration to Zach and taught him much of what he knows. Zach also loved his brothers and would love to rough house and wrestle with them; he looked up to each of them, drew strength from their examples and admired them so much. Zach adored his niece, Rylee and was one of the greatest uncles. You would often find them running around and playing. Zach was a wonderful man who loved life and always made the most of it. He had a smile that would melt your heart. He loved to work hard and play hard. He thought he could do anything and he did. He loved being with friends and doing the things he enjoyed most. He was always loving and kind no matter the circumstances. He was a hard worker with a huge heart and would go out of his way to help anyone in need, no matter how busy he was. Zach became a good friend to everyone he met, and most would say an instant friend upon meeting him. He treated everyone with kindness and showed integrity in all that he did. Those who came to know Zach would often say how much he impacted their lives. Zach had faith in God and practiced what he preached. He taught his beliefs to his family and friends and all who would listen through his words and deeds. Whenever there was an opportunity to serve others, he did so willingly and always gave his all. Zach will truly be missed by all who knew him. We find peace and comfort knowing that we will be with him again. Zach is survived by his parents, Scott and Sharon Schrader, brothers Josh (Madi), Christian, and Jordan Schrader and niece Rylee Schrader; grandparents Wayne and Delora Brower and Vera Schrader; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather George Schrader, uncle Brett Brower, cousin Megan Wilkinson.
