Karmen Monique LouAnn Jackson was born December 24, 1992 in a small hospital in Coquille, OR. She was the second child of Mildred Freedle and Juan Rodriguez. She lived in Oregon for a short period of time before moving to Washington, but she called Melba, Idaho home. She grew up in Melba where she attended elementary, middle school, and some high school. She graduated high school from the House of the Lord Christian Academy in 2012. In 2014, Karmen met Jacob Douglas Jackson while living and working in the Boise, Idaho area. After sharing four years of memories Jacob got down on one knee and asked Karmen to take his hand in marriage. They got married on May 14, 2018. In Jacobs words, "Karmen and I loved each other in such a unique way." He said. "most girls want diamonds, but Karmen just wanted to enjoy each other's time together." If Karmen and he could have it their way, they would spend the night in the kitchen making the most comforting meal then sit down and enjoy it together with their kids. Jacob said, "Their love was unique." Karmen and Jacob were blessed with three beautiful babies. Her highest accomplishment was becoming a mother. Another thing that came so natural to her. Quentin Luca was born in 2016, Micah Levi was born in 2017, and Eliza Jane (their little princess) was born in 2019. Karmen was the best mother. She had patients, allowed her children to be unique and free spirited, allowed their imagination to grow, and taught them to be creative. Halloween was never just once a year in their home. The kids were super heroes, kitty cats, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Ninja Turtles depending on whatever day of the week it was. She shared her love of music with them. They love to sing and dance just like their momma. They love to cook and enjoy all things food. She never worried about messes because her kids were making memories. Karmen was the cool mom. From coloring Quentin blue for blue day at school to surprising them with a glow in the dark bath, she truly made their years together special. These are the special moments they will hold in their hearts forever. On October 19, 2021, Karmen delivered her final baby girl, Iris. She lovingly handed her baby girl to a new Mom and Dad through open adoption. Karmen said, "There's no doubt in my mind she was brought to existence for this new mommy to be her mother".
