Colton James Simpson, 29, of Caldwell passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019. "CJ" was born October 25, 1989 in Caldwell, Idaho to James Patrick and Shana Eileen Simpson. He grew up on a ranch in Idaho that allowed him to be a "renegade" running wild and free! While at Warm Lake, Idaho CJ met Heather Ruth Rebman and they became fast friends from the very first moment. Their relationship continued to blossom and they became closer and closer. They adored each other and became inseparable. They were married on April 7, 2018 in Caldwell, Idaho. It has been said that No word or memory could ever describe their deep love and bond they had. The love they share is one that will transcend this life into the next. CJ served our country in the United States Army. He received commendations for his exemplary performance. Like other servicemen, CJ gave of his life to help preserve our freedoms and way of life. His greatest joys in life came from helping others. He also had an avid interest in microbiology, herbalism, naturopathy, sustainable living, metal work and carpentry. He was a man of endless facets and was a very deep thinker with a beautiful mind. He had a hilarious sense of humor and most of all he had the kindest heart. Colton is survived by his wife Heather and a baby girl Tekoa to be born in February; parents Shana and Pat Burcham and James and Misty Simpson; grandparents: Gene and JoAnn Monaghan, Norm Simpson and Monte Hickman. Visitation/Viewing will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa, with Military Honors to be performed at 6:00 PM.
