Toran David Ybanez

On Saturday, December 6, 2014, we lost a gentle, artistic, kind hearted soul - Toran David Ybanez (Adonais). Toran was a writer, poet, musician and teacher. He had an outstanding sense of humor, was fiercely loyal and wise beyond his years. In his younger years he loved T-ball, karate, and animals. His favorite toy was a little yellow elephant. He was able to read at the age of three. Toran was grandpa's boy. He loved spending time with his grandpa on the farm and working with the horses. He had a soft heart and was a forever friend. He had a soul that was older than his young body. Toran had an inner light that illuminated the path for others to follow by inspiring them to pursue their dreams passionately, and help them instill a strong belief in themselves. He was treasured as a son, brother, fiancee and friend. During the last two years of his life, Toran found peace, love and a sense of home with his fiancee Kate. They shared joy, philosophy and plans to elope in the fall. Toran is survived by his father William Ybanez and mother Lisa Abbott Free along with his birth father Scott Blades; sisters Lidia and Alexis Ybanez and brother Adyn Blades; Grandparents Coy Abbott and Gary and Trisha Blades; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his fiancee Kate White. He will be laid to rest near his Grandfather David Abbott.
