Kellei Dawn Bunn, 34, of Nampa passed quietly on July 30, 2023 at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon from injuries sustained in an accident on July 4, 2023. Kellei was born July 6, 1989, in Coos Bay, Oregon and moved as an infant to Caldwell, Idaho then to Nampa at age 4. She attended School at East Canyon Elementary, Vallivue Middle School and graduated from Vallivue High School. As a youth she was very active and involved in Church, Cheerleading, Volleyball, Track, and Choir. Kellei always had a smile on her face. She was fun and always had something going on. She liked to babysit, and children were naturally drawn to her. She loved attending Girls Camp at Camp Glenwood. She loved sports and was good at anything she tried. She was daring and bigger than life in anything she did, "Go Big, or Go Home!" was her attitude. She enjoyed long-boarding, rock climbing, hiking, and camping. She especially loved horses. They were therapeutic to her, and she was very good with them. Kellei liked physical work, and she worked the last few years in home remodeling, demolition, and painting. She was so happy, and things were beginning to fall into place for her. She was excited to begin her new job working and training horses the day after her tragic accident. But it was not be, as Kellei was hit while riding her bicycle on July 4. Her injuries were life-threatening, and she was life flighted to Boise, then Portland, Oregon for more specialized procedures. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Maxine Breshears; and her paternal grandfather James Bunn. She is survived by her daughter Aleiah; her parents Randy and Linda Bunn; five siblings: Clint Lundy (Lynna), Deana Jolley (Jim Bob), John Bunn (Wendy), Amanda Stocking (Jonathan), Billy Bunn (Melyssa); grandfather Glen Breshears, and grandmother Janeel Bunn; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We are grateful for the first responders, life flights, and the quick and excellent care Kellei received at St Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. And we especially want to express our gratitude for the care given to Kellei in the NTICU, and ICU, and our family at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Their professional care in addition to the exceptional kindness they showed us is beyond words. Thank you for the selfless love and greatest compassion shown in word and deed. Words cannot express or convey our deepest gratitude.
