Cody Robert Wood was born on January 28, 1983 in Boise, Idaho. He lived in Caldwell and Kuna, Idaho with his family until he reached adulthood. Some of his favorite childhood activities included playing sports, riding motorcycles on his family's farm, and collecting sports cards with his dad. Cody married Valeria Valdez on September 21, 2013 in Caldwell, Idaho. They have one beautiful daughter together, Hollee Wood, who was the love of his life. Cody enjoyed trips with his family to the Oregon coast, and spending holidays together to share good meals and play games. He was always up for a game of poker, where he usually ended up winning. Cody worked with his father reinforcing and repairing utility lines. This was a great way for him to travel to other cities and see new places, while spending time with his dad and fellow crew members. Many friends and family members loved Cody very much. Cody can be remembered for his good sense of humor, and making others laugh. He was an incredibly kind person, and had a wonderful heart. Many people will miss him greatly. Cody passed away on April 11, 2022. He is survived by his loving parents Melanie and Douglas Wood; his sister Kadie Johnson; and his daughter Hollee Wood. He also leaves behind his two step sons, Jesse and Joseph.
