Trent Douglas DeVoge

Trent Douglas DeVoge February 12, 1978 - January 12, 2018 Our beloved Trent was called home by our Heavenly Father after complications from multiple surgeries. Since his birth, Trent has been a miracle and routinely surpassed doctors' expectations. Born with hydrocephalus, leukodystrophy, and lymphedema, Trent was not expected to live past childhood. Defying the odds, Trent lived 39 years and 11 months. Trent was preceded in death by his brother Austin. Trent is survived by his parents Clifford and Brenda; siblings: Neil (Camie), Shawna (Colin), Wade (Angel), Reid (Ashley), Lane (Savala). He was loved and will also be missed by 10 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the United States and Canada, as well as friends. Trent always found the joy in life as evidenced by his big, infectious smile and love of everyone he met. Trent loved cartoons (He-Man and Scooby Doo were his favorites), game shows and movies, and could often be heard tending to his DVD collection. He loved pro wrestling, the San Francisco 49ers, shopping, going to restaurants and all types of music (his favorites were Elvis and the Beach Boys). Trent loved going to church and singing hymns. Trent often kept a watchful eye over his youngest nephews and enjoyed watching them play. In his youth, Trent was also a Special Olympian and champion horseback rider. Trent was kind and gentle. You could not help but love the wonderful man that he was. He will forever be missed by all who knew him. He will forever be our undisputed champion, Trent "The Miracle" DeVoge. Services for Trent will take place as follows: Burial at 1 p.m. Saturday, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 15862 S. Indiana Ave in Caldwell followed by services at 2 p.m. held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 18486 Middleton Road in Nampa. Arrangements by Zeyer Funeral Chapel. (208-467-7300) Condolences may be expressed at ZeyerFuneralChapel.com.
