Jeanna Tracy Phillip

Our beautiful Jeanna quietly slipped away into the arms of our Savior after a valiant fight against ovarian cancer. She fought fiercely against this disease and with her husband and family by her side, faced each battle with dignity and courage. It was her passion for life and love of family that fueled her determination to stay with us but Heavenly Father had a greater Plan for her and she was taken Home. Jeanna was loved and cherished by her family and friends. With her quick smile and engaging personality, she gathered many friends from across the globe and held them close to her heart. However, she held her husband and family even closer and had the unique ability to make each one feel like they were her best friend. Her love for her nieces and nephews ran especially deep which endeared her to all of them. After graduating from Kuna High School, Jeanna attended Utah State University where she earned a Bachelor degree in Public Health and played collegiate volleyball. She went on to earn her MBA at the University of Utah. Her degree took her all over the world working as a Management Consultant for Deloitte, Aon, and as an independent consultant. While living in Hong Kong, Jeanna met the love of her life, Lou Phillip. Theirs was a story of true love and unending compassion that inspired us all. Lou and Jeanna traveled extensively together, and spent a year sabbatical traveling around the world. In 2012, they moved to London to settle into their lives and continue their careers. Jeanna lived life to the fullest and was able to experience more in her 39 years than most of us would in a lifetime. She set high goals for herself and achieved everything she ever set out to do...from climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to diving amongst the beautiful reefs of Australia. Jeanna embraced life and celebrated its diversity. In the words of her husband, she was "Loved by all. A light that burned bright and was a fountain of inspiration to the many lives she has touched." She is survived by her husband Lwanga Phillip; parents, Kent and Susan Tracy; three sisters; Michelle (Michael) Tiegs, Kerri (Jerry) Young, Jennifer (Jonathan) Houssian; 15 nieces and nephews, and 4 great-nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 10:30am at the LDS Stake Center, 3305 W Kuna Road, Kuna Idaho. Visitation will be held beginning at 9am. Because of her desire to help disadvantaged women and children, the family suggest donations be made, in her memory, to Ghana Make a Difference. www.ghanamakeadifference.org/donate/. Arrangements are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300 Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday May 28, 2014 Kuna LDS Stake Center 3305 Kuna Road, Kuna, Idaho at the corner of Kuna and Black Cat Roads Visitation: 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday prior to services at the church Kuna LDS Stake Center 3305 Kuna Road, Kuna, Idaho at the corner of Kuna and Black Cat Roads
