Michael Alan Baird, 47, of Nampa passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at his home of natural causes. Michael was born September 11, 1973 in Redondo Beach, California at the Little Company of Mary hospital to his mother Shirley Ann Shcessler and father Vernon Bogart Baird. Throughout his childhood Michael enjoyed playing video games and socializing with other kids. He participated quite a bit in the youth scouting program sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Michael graduated from Mira Costa high School in Los Angeles County, California. Michael's favorite things to do were visiting theme parks, roller coaster thrill rides, trying new and exotic foods, taking vacations seeing family, and competitive video gaming. Michael was very social. He enjoyed talking with others and making others happy. He would always have a special treat for everybody that he knew when he would go shopping or go out to eat. Michael lived in Torrance, California the majority of his life with his father. He took care of his grandmother Margaret Dessie Baird in his home the last few years of her life. He was very kind and very helpful to her and she loved him a lot.Michael moved to Idaho around January 2017. He was always a great help to his mother and our family. He was very kind-hearted. When he was asked to help out with something around the home, he would always help whether it be coming to help with yard work; coming to watch over the home while Mom and Dad took a drive; or just to come over to give us some company, and help us beat some of our video games :-). Michael will be missed tremendously by all. Everyone was his friend and he cared about them deeply. Michael leaves behind his mother Shirley Ann Schessler and her husband Edward George Schessler; three sisters: Mary Ellen Baird, Rachel Anne Schessler and Jenny Lorraine Schessler; nephew Jacob Isaac Baird; aunt Carol Baird; and many other friends who he made along the way. We already know your resting with the angels and rejoicing with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rest in peace Michael. Your purpose here has been fulfilled and we will miss you so much.
