For the remainder of her life Dawn worked as a live-in housekeeper and bookkeeper for Bill and Daniele Strack of Nampa, Idaho. She found great joy in her "children" (otherwise known as her dogs) Tucker, Kirby, Baby Eddie, Boone, Train Wreck, and Bailey, her one and only female. Dawn also loved many misfits that passed through her life such as the kittens and even pigs. She truly had a passion for animals, especially those that were abandoned. She had hoped to open a rescue shelter one day and was constantly looking for ways to help all animals in need.Dawn never went anywhere she didn't make a friend. She loved fast and hard and would have given anything to anyone in need. To know Dawn, was to love Dawn. She was witty, artistic, clever, and kind. She was not only a beautiful spirit, with a heart of gold, she had some of the most wonderfully, colorful, brilliant, humorous, and always well though-out words of wisdom to share. She will be greatly missed.A celebration of life will be held in late January or early February when Brandon will be in Boise for a visit.
