Alex Scott Weber, 45, passed away unexpectedly at his Caldwell home on Monday, October 5, 2015. Alex was born September 15, 1970 in Caldwell, ID. He was employed as an electrician in the Canyon County area for several years. After a recent injury he was looking forward to working with his father Freddie Weber. Alex was known by all for his playful, kindred spirit and his love for children. He mentored youth by volunteering as a coach for flag football. He demonstrated true generosity. He gave freely with pure intent without expectation. Survivors include: Shaylah Weber (daughter), Linda Peterson (mother), Freddie Weber (father), Cindy Weber (step-mother); sisters: Melanie Charlton (Sam), Jessica Weber, Stefanie Weber; step-sisters Amy Jensen (Dallas) and Amber Thompson (Jeff); brother Kirk Weber; step-brothers: Kyle Hankins, Steve Hankins, Greg Hankins (Alecia), Jonathon Hankins and Mike Hankins; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Alex was preceded in death by Richard Weber (brother), William G. Outram and Dorothy L. Outram (maternal grandparents), Phil and Winnie Weber (paternal grandparents). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9 at the Caldwell LDS Third Ward Chapel, 4509 S. Montana Ave in Caldwell. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa (467-7300) and at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
