Danny Theodore Grim of Nampa, ID died of natural causes on January 11, 2019. He was born on September 12, 1970 in Nampa, ID. He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Ball; and his brothers Gary Wright & Monty Grim. Danny was raised in Melba, ID. He joined the Job Corps in 1986 and trained as a carpenter. He then found his passion in life when he was 18 and trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). He married Melinda (Mindi) Garrison in May 2016. Dan had an energy and love for people unlike any other. He had the kindest, biggest heart of any man. He worked all his life as a CNA and was the best in his field. He was the kindest, most compassionate person in the building. He could win anyone over with his huge smile and warm approach. He never met a patient he did not love. The staff and families he met daily felt his warmth. He had a passion for woodworking, which he shared with Mindi. They spent many hours working on birdhouses to sell from their home. He had a strong love for his daughter, Lilah, as well as Mindi's small boys Lukas & Chris whom he helped raise. Dan loved playing pranks on the boys daily. He grew a huge smile by picking up the boys in his arms & swinging them around until they squealed with delight. His co-workers, his patients & his family, will sorely miss Dan and he is loved deeply always. None other will ever be his equal. His wonderful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife Mindi; daughter Lilah; his step-children; and the rest of his family and friends. He is also survived by his brother Rick Wright and sister Kathy Castle. Memorial Notice Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service to be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa.
