We are eternally grateful for the example dad put forth for us. A dedicated husband of more than 52 years, he taught us the value of a dedicated marriage commitment, taking his marriage vows to Ernestina Madero on September 26, 1963, raising five children and working tirelessly to provide a warm and inviting home. Dad had numerous friends and family and worked farm labor, battled forest fires, processed sugar beets and over a span of the last 39 years always came back to seasonal seed processing in Nampa, ID. We could always count on dad to provide everything the family needed. Dad had a sharing spirit and a kind disposition where he never turned away a person in need. We were the beneficiaries of his giving spirit. He dedicated his life as an active Jehovah's Witness in March of 1976 and shared his faith with us. He taught us the value of honesty, hard work, dedication and serving Jehovah God with all our hearts. Many were the times we shared a ride with others in need to many of the Jehovah's Witness conventions we attended. We have special memories of dad helping the less fortunate and strive to imitate his example. In his later years you could find him most mornings having coffee and reading the paper at the local McDonalds or Burger King where he had a special kinship with the staff and the group of friends that gathered to socialize before going to work. We have many fond memories of dad on family trips, Jehovah's Witness activities and family moments which could fill many written pages. Suffice to say he will be missed as a spiritual brother, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Dad had an unmovable bible based belief in an eternal life on paradise earth and now rests in Jehovah God's memory awaiting the resurrection. On behalf of your adoring wife, loving children, and family, we will miss you for now and we will see you soon on paradise earth.
