Robert "Rob" Jorgensen, 53 of Nampa passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, January 30, 2023, after a long courageous fight with lung cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Tauna; brothers Dennis Jorgensen, Johnny Newcomb; sister Nancy Timmerman; mother Colleen Despain; many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Rob had a zest for life. He loved: anything with a motor, especially his snowmobile, the outdoors, traveling, and Jamaica. What he loved most in the world was Tauna, his wife of almost 25 years, soul mate, adventure buddy and best friend. Together they traveled to many places in the US, Jamaica 25 times, and most recently Fiji. Rob and Tauna owned an insulation and rain gutter company for the last 15 years. People used to say he could sell ice cubes to Eskimos. He did everything with passion and fire. He was also the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Rob worked hard and played even harder. He will be dearly missed. An open house in his honor will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at 3623 Wheeler Circle, Nampa, Idaho.
