Mark Jerome Overman passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, due to a chronic illness. He is survived by his loving daughter Alyssa; son Adam; life partner Paula; his mother and father; a sister and two older brothers. Mark was a talented artist, with the best sense of humor. He was a unique and wonderful man. He felt most at home when he was outside walking in the woods, sitting in our wooden swing at night or sitting around a campfire. He enjoyed the peace and quiet sounds when evening came and found much comfort in that. He loved his cat Loki and spent many peaceful hours holding and talking to him. Mark enjoyed camping and we took many trips into the forest, finding hot springs to relax in and he never failed to come home with at least one new walking stick that we would find to add to his collection. Above all else, Mark loved his family and would have done anything in his power for any one of them. It was very important to him that his family knew this. He wanted so badly to be able to do more for all of them. Mark wanted to make people happy. He would do the funniest, silly things to make you smile and laugh. He would often exclaim, "I feel a groove coming on" and begin doing this goofy, hilarious dance to get you smiling and laughing. Mark is the love of my life, my soulmate, and is missed terribly and will forever be in my heart. He wanted to never be forgotten and wanted us to talk to him out loud if something happened and he passed on. So please talk to him, love him, and never forget him or the sweet, kind, and loving soul he truly was. Our family can only pray he knew how much they wanted the best in life for him. Part of our family soul is now incomplete. He was loved. He was appreciated. We were blessed. A private family memorial will be held in Mark's honor.
