Regina Virvete Bernardino

Regina Bernardino went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2015. She passed away in Houston, Texas after battling with diabetes and kidney failure. Even in her last day she blessed us with her smiles and laughter. Regina was born on August 25, 1967 in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico to Guadalupe and Carlos Cuevas (of Nyssa, Oregon). She attended school in Lufkin, Texas. Regina was raised as a Catholic (although her mother is Apostolic). Regina loved to travel and dance. In her younger days she traveled to Florida, Wyoming and Texas. She last went with her children to South Carolina. She loved to attend the dances held in Nampa and Caldwell. She would always go with her friends and have a good time. In Texas, she loved going to listen to musical groups play. Regina leaves behind two sons, three daughters and one granddaughter. She was a loving, helpful, and joyful person. Her heart was like gold and her smile could light up the sky. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Regina will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 504 Locust Ave. Nyssa, OR 97913. A viewing will be held at the church on Sunday, March 8, from 6-8 pm. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300 Service: Tuesday, March 10, 2015 11:00 a.m. St. Bridget's Catholic Church 504 Locust Ave Nyssa, Oregon 97913 Visitation: Sunday, March 8, 2015 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. St. Bridget's Catholic Church 504 Locust Ave Nyssa, Oregon 97913
