Carie Lynne Hess

Carie Lynne Hess, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on the evening of July 20, 2020. She was the first of four children, born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glenda Cole and C. Bruce Coburn. Carie grew up in Nampa with her two brothers and sister. She graduated from Nampa High school and went on to study at Fashion Design School Brooks College in Long Beach, California. After graduating from Brooks, she went on to work at Quicksilver. The things she enjoyed most were being a loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, singing, and crafting. She was an amazing seamstress. She was the most creative person and always found joy in creating new things, whether it was sewing a full blown gown or linking a new necklace together-- she always had her hands busy making something. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; talking to friends and family, snacking on her favorite treats, and of course spending time with those she loved most. Carie had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Carie Lynne is survived by her loving father and step mother, Bruce and Kerren Coburn; her four children: Amanda, Elizabeth, Preston, and Katelyn; her grandchildren: Sebastian, Henry, and Georgia Lou; her siblings: Darryn (Amy) Coburn, David (Jennifer) Coburn, and Kimberly (Dave) Potter; and her nephew and nieces: Tori, Kyle, Makayla, Kaycee, and Ashley, She was preceded in death by her sealed eternal companion, Kelly Lee Hess; and her loving mother, Glenda Cole Coburn. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 25 at The Whitney Cemetery, 1400 East Road in Preston (Whitney) where she will be laid to rest next to her loving mother. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the friends who have shown loving care and support throughout the years.
