Shauna Harris Jones, Beloved Wife, Mother, & Grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on July 17, 2021. Shauna was born March 19, 1963, in Houston, Texas to Dale and Karen Harris. Shauna then relocated to Boise, Idaho with her family to reunite with her grandmother Gloria Peterson. Shauna graduated from Capital High School in Boise in 1981. She met her long-time companion, best friend, loving future husband Jim Jones in 1982. Jim fell deeply in love with Shauna, as well as she for him, instantly and they never looked back. They became engaged 9 months later in Paoli, Indiana while on vacation and were married in Boise, Idaho on March 17, 1984. Their love was unmatchable! Shauna's biggest goal in life was to be the best Mother she could be, she accomplished this goal and more! There soon after, Trevor was born in 1987 in Boise, Idaho. Shortly thereafter, Shauna and Jim relocated to Fruitland, Idaho where they brought Jordan and Lindsey into this world and resided as a family until 2012. After Trevor, Jordan, and Lindsey moved and started their careers, Jim and Shauna relocated to Nampa, Idaho. Shauna and Jim developed many great friendships through church and neighbors that they will cherish forever. Shauna had so many incredible qualities but her most endearing trait was making those around her feel important and accepted. She was the most loving, kindhearted, bubbly person on this earth. She was so loving to every stranger, there wasn't a person in her life that she didn't touch. Shauna had thousands of children; she was a mom to many! Shauna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a past member of the 22nd Ward and current member of the 44th Ward. She absolutely loved teaching primary. She was a strong, beautiful soul and overcame many trials in her life. She was always supportive of her family. She attended thousands of school events, church events, and sporting events. Her favorite job was working for Fruitland High school with the many teachers, coaches, and especially students. She greatly enjoyed being the "team mom" for many sports teams at Fruitland and Treasure Valley Community College. You would never leave the Jones house hungry. She would feed everyone till they were full. Her favorite job of all was being a mother! She dreamt of being a mom her entire life and she was the most incredible mother. Shauna was a huge life force and impacted many. She will be greatly missed. It was lovingly said of Shauna--Besides a lifetime of love, support, companionship, and friendship, Shauna gave Jim the most important gift of all: His three children!
